This site is operated by Rajeev Manoharan, trading as Phoenix RN Nursing Coaching Center, based in Manama, Bahrain ("Phoenix RN", "we", "us"). Phoenix RN acts as the data controller for personal data collected through phoenix-rn.com.

We collect information you provide directly to us, and limited technical data automatically, including:

Account data: name, email address, password (hashed)
Contact data: phone / WhatsApp number when you submit a lead form or quiz
Learning data: target exam, quiz responses, progress on roadmaps, mock-test scores
Support messages you send by email, WhatsApp or chat
Usage / device data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, basic analytics

Payment card details are never collected or stored by Phoenix RN. They are collected directly by our payment provider PayPal (see section 4).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and improve our nursing coaching services
Communicate with you about courses, schedules, and updates
Send you relevant study materials and resources
Respond to your inquiries via WhatsApp, phone, or email
Personalize your learning experience

3. Legal Basis

We process your data on the legal bases of (a) performance of a contract when you purchase or use a product, (b) our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the service, (c) your consent for marketing communications and quiz follow-ups, and (d) compliance with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the following categories of recipients, strictly to provide the service:

PayPal — our payment processor. When you make a purchase, PayPal collects your billing information, processes the payment, and handles refunds. See PayPal's Privacy Statement.
Hosting and backend infrastructure providers used to run the website, database, authentication and edge functions
Email delivery providers used to send transactional and nurture emails
Analytics tooling used to understand aggregate site usage
Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where strictly necessary
Authorities where required by law or to protect our rights

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and learning data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, accounting and dispute-resolution obligations. Lead and quiz data is retained for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete it earlier. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at phoenixnursingacademy@gmail.com. We will respond within one month.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, row-level access controls on our database, and least-privilege access for staff. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, but we work hard to safeguard your data.

5. WhatsApp Communication

By providing your WhatsApp number, you consent to receive messages related to our coaching services, including course information, study tips, and promotional offers. You can opt out at any time by messaging us on WhatsApp.
